How to Pay for your Kapitari Retreat

Below you will find a list of our payment methods.

Whichever payment method you use, please send $425 USD if you’re paying a 50% deposit, or $850 USD if you’re paying in full.

Also, important: If the person paying is different from your name then please communicate that to us, otherwise we may not know who the money is intended for. Also, if you (or someone else) is paying for more than one person, please also tell us the names of all retreat participants the payment is intended for.

1) Credit/Debit Card

We have just been approved to use Izipay a Peruvian Payment processor that allows us to accept most types of card payment.

However, we have to create a payment link for each individual person.

If you would like to pay by credit/debit card then just let us know when you register and we’ll send you a payment link.

2) Remitly or WorldRemit

Both Remitly.com and WorldRemit.com are very similar services that allow you to send money to anyone in the world using their website or app (WorldRemit is now phone app only). You can use a credit/debit card to pay for both services.

We think Remitly.com is the better service and have superior customer support (in our experience) should you need it. They have a phone app, and you can use their website at https://www.remitly.com/

Both services allow you to send money that can be picked up, or you can send money to a bank account (which is far cheaper than using SWIFT). Remitly costs less than $5 to send money.

Select to send money to Peru but select USD as the currency (NOT Peruvian Soles).

You can select to pay by Credit/Debit card or bank transfer.

You then select Bank Deposit or Cash Pickup (either is fine).

Once the transaction has been confirmed you should receive an email confirmation. Please forward this email to [email protected]

3) Western Union

You can send money to us using Western Union (https://www.westernunion.com/). You can either use a local agent or send through their website using a credit/debit card. However, please note that some banks block debit/credit card transactions to Western Union because they consider it to be high risk.

Please send the money to Jazmine Culquiton Ruiz. It’s extremely important that you use her full name, otherwise she will not be allowed to pick up the money in Iquitos. The name has to exactly match her government ID card.

4) International Bank Wire Transfer (SWIFT)

You can send money to us internationally using SWIFT transfers. Depending on your bank, you may be able to do this online, or you may have to visit your local branch.

Peruvian banks do not use an IBAN. They are identified using a Swift Code.
