Kapitari Ayahuasca Retreat Terms and Conditions Agreement
1. Introduction
Welcome to Kapitari Ayahuasca Retreat. By participating in our retreat, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. This agreement outlines the responsibilities and expectations of both the participant and Kapitari Retreats.
2. Health and Safety
- Medical Disclosure: Participants must disclose any existing medical conditions, medications, or treatments to Kapitari before attending the retreat.
- Prohibited Substances: Participants must abstain from alcohol, recreational drugs, and certain medications as advised in the pre-retreat guidelines.
- Health Insurance: It is recommended that participants have health insurance that covers international travel and participation in high-risk activities.
3. Payments and Cancellations
- Payment: Full payment must be made at least 30 days prior to the start of the retreat; however, you can pay 50% to confirm your booking. Payment instructions will be provided upon reservation approval.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 15 days prior to the retreat start date will receive a 10% refund fee. Cancellations made within 15 days prior to the retreat start date will receive a 30% refund fee, or the payment can be transferred to another retreat in the future.
- Force Majeure: In case of emergency or force majeure, the visitor can change the date of his retreat or cancel according to the cancellation policies.
4. Participation
- Eligibility: Participants must be at least 18 years old. Exceptions for younger participants may be made at the discretion of Kapitari and with written consent from a parent or guardian.
- Conduct: Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards staff, shamans, and fellow participants. Disruptive or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from the retreat without refund.
- Adherence to Guidelines: Participants must follow all guidelines and instructions provided by Kapitari staff and shamans, including dietary restrictions and safety protocols.
5. Liability
- Assumption of Risk: Participants understand that ayahuasca ceremonies involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical, emotional, and psychological effects. By participating, you accept these risks.
- Release of Liability: Kapitari, its staff, and shamans are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages that may occur during the retreat. Participants agree to release Kapitari from any and all claims arising from participation.
- Indemnification: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kapitari from any and all liabilities or costs arising from any claims or actions resulting from their participation in the retreat.
6. Privacy and Confidentiality
- Personal Information: Kapitari respects your privacy. Personal information collected during the registration process will be kept confidential and used only for the purposes of the retreat.
- Photography and Recording: Participants may not record ceremonies or other participants without explicit permission. Kapitari may take photographs or videos for promotional purposes, but participants will be informed and given the option to opt-out.
7. Agreement to Terms
By registering for the retreat, participants agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Any violations may result in immediate dismissal from the retreat without refund.
